How does homeopathy work?

topic posted Mon, December 3, 2007 - 9:17 AM by  Dom
I am not trained at all in homeopathy, but my basic understanding is that homeopathy is a form of vibrational medicine. The substances used as remedies transfer their molecular vibrations to the solution/sugar pill and that is imparted to the overall vibration of the patient to effect a transformation. Is this essentially true?

If so, how is this affected by other vibrational mediators such as crystals, tuning forks, etc? Also, check out this web site and tell me what you think: www.thebritteam.com (not my web site, by the way; I'm not trying to plug myself or anyone else).

Any feedback is helpful.

my understanding of homeopathy is a bit different.

i understand it to be putting something into your system that will cause the body to react which in turn will also heal whatever the troubling symptom is. thus, the body naturally healing itself. the solutions are diluted so that the negative effects of trying to stimulate a reaction in the body are not felt.

    from wikipedia:
Homeopathic remedies are made from substances that, in undiluted form, cause symptoms similar to the disease they aim to treat.
